New York and Ohio Adventures

About a month ago, we were able to take a fun trip to Ohio to visit my brother's mission and then to New York to visit a lot of cool church sites and the Hill Cumorah Pageant. This was Kaydence's first plane experience. I was very nervous for her, but she did better than I anticipated.
Kaydence loves her grandma Rowley.
Niagra Falls! Very cool...
Kaydence met a little friend. It was kinda of overwhelming for her.
This was Joseph Smith's room
Were at the Smith's house.
We got to spend most of our Sunday at the Smith Farm and Sacred Grove. It was a neat day. The feeling in the Sacred Grove was amazing. It felt so peaceful there. It's so amazing to think that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith in that same grove that we were in. Such a neat feeling.
Grandma (as in Kaydence's grandma) got us all matching Tshirts. Kaydence's was kind of big but so cute on her.
Palmyra Temple
On top of Hill Cumorah, the exact hill that the gold plates were buried.
The Kirtland Temple, which was the first temple the saints built, but then were commanded to leave to Utah. The temple is now owned by another church, but it was cool to see the first temple built.
Our hotel in Ohio had possums living in trash cans.
The Hill Cumorah Pageant. Such a good pageant. It was neat to see a different pageant than the one we are used to here in Arizona, the Easter Pageant.
We got to tour the print shop that the first copies of the Book of Mormon were printed. They went through the whole process of printing and binding. It's amazing the process they went through to print back in those days.
The end of our trip waiting in the Ohio airport for our plane. We had such a fun experience. It was our last family vacation for a while with the whole family there, since Dustin will be leaving us soon to go on his mission.
