One of Tanner and my family goals this year was to plan a family outing every 3-4 months. This one was kind of an agreement we made with Kaydence when we were desperately trying to potty train her. We promised her a Disneyland trip when she filled up her potty training/good behavior sticker chart. I'm proud to say she completed it a few months ago, so it's been a "LONG" time in her mind, but we followed through with that promise.
On our way we had to made some pit stops and why not at the windmills. She rode like a champ. No whining or anything. We didn't even need to whip out the phones or tablets on the way there.
We were lucky enough to stay with Tanner's good friend in Huntington Beach which was about 3 miles from the actual beach. Kaydence loves the beach. She could stay there for days and be occupied. We spend our first day there. We found lots of shells and chased pretty much every seagull on the beach.
All in all, it was a good day.
