Independence Day Weekend // Heber Arizona

We got to escape the terrible heat of Mesa to the beautiful weather in Heber. It was perfect weather and even got a little chilly in the evenings. 

We went to the Annual 4th Of July Parade. It was so nice this year because it was cloudy most of the parade. The parade is just outside the neighborhood of where the cabin is, so we rode in the back of Grandpa's truck. Kaydence thought it was the best thing in the world. 

We invited my sister and brother in law, Katie and Adam Brown, who are expecting their first little baby in October. Also a lot of our cousins, the Swanson's came along with some of Alissa's friends. It was a fun group.

Later that afternoon we went to ride quads and shoot guns. Kaydence thought it was her first time shooting a gun. She shot once before but she doesn't remember it. She had so much fun. 

Due to the rain, the fireworks show got cancelled, but between my cousin, Skylers fireworks and my sparklers, we had our own little fireworks show.
