First Day of School! // First Grade // Ishikawa Elementary School

Kaydence started first grade! I can't believe it. She's still going to the same school I went to, Ishikawa Elementary School. She had a great teacher in kingergarten, so I was thinking she might not get someone that was as good as Mrs. Ellsworth, but sure enough she did! She got an awesome teacher named Mrs. Johnson. She is amazing with her and she loves her so far. Here's to a great school year!

Kaydence had a great kindergarten this year. She had the best teacher in the world, and I sincerely mean that. Mrs Ellsworth is an amazing teacher and Kaydence loved her so much. Mrs Ellsworth told me she wished she had 28 Kaydence's in her class, because she is such a good student. She loved learning and is excited to go to 1st grade next year. 

Right before graduation, her class presented me with this Heavenly Hats Jar that they've been saving up dollars ever since I got cancer again and they raised over $150! I am so humbled by their sacrifice and generosity! These kids have hearts of gold.

Kaydence started kindergarten in August. I can't believe she is old enough. It feels like yesterday I was in the hospital delivering her. What is really cool is that she is going to the school I went to! It was really weird being on the campus again and seeing how small it looks. It seemed huge when I was little. Her teacher is Mrs. Ellsworth and she is awesome. She told me she wishes she had 28 Kaydence's in her classroom.
