Each morning before the theme parks, we would meet as groups for group therapy sessions. The kids and adults would each have their own meetings. It was very therapeutic to talk to so many people that were experiencing the same things as us, as alot of them actually enduring so much more. It was very humbling and made us count our blessings. Two of the families dad's were literally dying. In fact, we found out after the trip that one of them died already. We are so heartbroken for their family, but so grateful he was well enough to attend this trip of a lifetime.
Day two we spent at Disneyworld. It was amazing. Despite the heat, we enjoyed it alot! We had gold passes that allowed us to go the very front of the line with 3 rides. We also had a fast pass that allowed 3 active fast passes, so we literally didn't have to wait in any lines all day. It was great. And our volunteer, Cheri, was amazing. She carried all of our bags and while we were riding rides, would be out getting us new fast passes. She was so great.
