My cousin referred us for a Legacy Retreat from the Inheritance of Hope Foundation. This foundation is amazing. They offered us the New York City or Florida trip and while it was so hard to turn down New York City, I couldn't live with the guilt of saying no to Disneyworld for Kaydence. Plus she would probably hate walking around New York City. We will save that trip for when she's older.
Day one while all the families arrived that afternoon, we walked to Downtown Disney and shopped and hung out. That evening we had a very nice buffet style dinner and they introduced all of the families and we met all of our volunteers. We were blown away by these volunteers. They are some of the most selfless and caring people I've ever met.
We were blessed to meet the wonderful Mikki Skinner from Mikki Skinner Photography and she donated her skills to the trip. She took family photos of each of the families and suprised us with photo albums of the entire trip at the end!
