Annual Rowley Christmas Party

We had our annual Rowley Christmas party a couple days before Christmas this year. I am so happy that my Grandma still allows me to throw these for her. She used to do them every year, but passed the baton to me a few years back and I absolutely love it! She gives me the money and I get to plan the party. Sometimes I wonder if I should switch careers to party planning! haha.

We had Mexican food as usual. You can't go wrong with Mexican food. Our theme was Jingle All the Way. We ate amazing food, played games, the kids sang Jingle Bells for us, and we opened out Christmas Jammies. We all got onesies this year. We got all bundled up and took the Golf cart and Razor out to go caroling to the neighbors. It was such a fun time!!!!!

Christmas Eve // Grandma Rowley's Party

My sweet Grandma loves family parties and used to host a Christmas Eve party herself every Christmas eve with my parents and us kids, but since she's gotten older, she has passed on the baton to me and asked me to plan them every year. I absolutely love it! I love party planning and I have a lot of fun coming up with themes every year. Each year we get new jammies and then we play games. This year's theme was Reindeer Games. This year I felt very impressed to bear my testimony before we started the games, which lead into a lot of other testimonies being beared. It was a very good and memorable evening. After all the mooshy stuff, we had a lot of fun playing ridiculous games, including pooping reindeer, and catch phrase open mouth. We even got Grandma to get up and shake her booty! Thanks Grandma Rowley for letting me continue this tradition. We love you!

Annual Rowley Christmas Party 2015 // Misteltoe Themed

So if you've been following my blog, you may know that my grandma has me plan an annual Christmas Party with our immediate family. She started it years ago and over the years has gotten too overwhelmed planning it, so I took it over. I love party planning so I really enjoy being in charge of it. I usually try to come up with some type of theme. Past years, we've done gameshow themes. This year we went with Mistletoe. Found the cutest sweaters for the girls and got fresh mistletoe to smooth under. It's so fun now that all of my siblings are married and having their own families. Glad my Mom had us so close together so we could all experience the same stages of life together. Also this year we added 2 more kids to the mix, so it was a lot of fun. We ate a delicious dinner, watched a special video we made for my grandma, changed into our new Christmas jammies, played a game and watched Elf. Here's to another successful party. Thanks to my Grandma for providing everything for the party.
