My Poor Baby

Last night was the worst night of our lives. Kaydence is sick and barely slept last night. It was awful. She woke up first of all having a night terror and she wouldn't snap out of it. She also has a fever and a rash. Doc gave her some antibiotics yesterday so hopefully it will pass soon. Tanner was able to give her a priesthood blessing after her screaming for almost an hour. Almost immediately after the blessing was over, she snapped out of the night terror and wanted to go outside to see "the zoo". My neighbors/cousins, pretty much have a zoo at their house, with everything from chickens, to turtles to goats. She is obsessed with their backyard. So after the blessing Tanner took her to the zoo.

Although times like this are not very fun, it's these times in our lives where we are given the opportunity to strengthen our testimony. I am so grateful for priesthood in my home. It's so comforting to know that with enough faith, blessings can bring forth miracles. This wasn't quite to the point of being classified as a miracle, but it's the small things that make the difference. It's by these small and simple things throughout my life that my testimony of prayer and priesthood is continuously strengthened. I am grateful for these little moments in my life that confirm the truthfulness of the gospel.
